Hristodulidis: “Refakatsiz çocukların geçmişi vurgulanmalı”

Rum Yönetimi Başkanı Nikos Hristodulidis, bir kabulü sırasında 1974 yılında Yunanistan’da misafir edilen refakatsiz çocukların geçmişinin yeni neslin öğrenmesi için vurgulanması gerektiğini belirtti.

Haravgi gazetesi, Rum Yönetimi Başkanı Nikos Hristodulidis’in dün,  İlia ve Oleni Metropoliti Athanasios II ve 1974-79 Yunanistan’da Misafir Edilen Refakatsiz Çocuklar Derneği başkanlığındaki İlia bölgesi heyetini kabul ettiğini yazdı.

Habere göre Hristodulidis, heyeti kabulünde yaptığı açıklamada 1974 sonrasında, Yunanistan’daki refakatsiz çocukların geçmişinin, yeni neslin öğrenmesi için üzerinde durulması gereken bir husus olduğunu ifade etti.

Aileleri tarafından mecburi olarak Yunanistan’a gönderilen çocuklar ve misafir edilmelerinin “Türk işgalinin trajik hikayelerinden biri olduğunu” savunan Hristodulidis bu çocukları o dönemde misafir eden İlia bölgesi heyetine de teşekkürlerini sundu.
