Alsancak’ta bir sitenin havuz inşaatı için yapılan kazıda, Orta Tunç Çağı dönemine ait 3 mezar tespit edildi.

Eski Eserler ve Müzeler Dairesi Girne Şubesi Teknik Ekibi, tarihi mezarların bulunduğu bölgeyi koruma altına alarak kaza çalışması başlattı.

Teknik ekiplerinin bölgede 5 gün süren kazıları çalışmaları sonucunda, 3 adet mezar içinde, pişmiş

toprak testiler, metal mızrak ucu, toka çivi ve iğnelerden oluşan Orta Tunç Çağı dönemine ait

pişmiş toprak ve metal eserler ortaya çıkarıldı.

Kazılar sonucu gün ışığına çıkarılan eserler, Eski Eserler ve Müzeler Dairesi ekipleri tarafından

Girne Şube Amirliğine götürülerek koruma altına alındı.
